Recently the Broward Post published A Preliminary OIG Report on the Financial Mismanagement at the City of Lauderdale Lakes- OIG Report 11-017.
I don’t know how the Broward Post obtained and published this report since from the information I received, this report was preliminary and not final or to be released until I could provide a written response to be included in the final report.
The untimely release of this report has caused me embarrassment prior to release of any information to defend myself. I have attached my responses to this OIG Report for the information that has been identified.
Post this rebuttal/response if you want others to see that is certainly another side to the story- I challenge you. Had I a chance to respond to this report prior to your posting, this whole situation could have been avoided.
