Dear Sir:
In the early part of January 2012, the Deerfield Beach Housing Authority provided all Board members with an Apple iPad 2 with Verizon 3G service.
On May 1, 2012 the City of Deerfield Beach removed, by Resolution, Commissioner Susie Rotten Crotch from the DBHA Board. In the weeks following, Rotten Crotch has continued to use the device and its service, has refused to return the device, and has indicated her intention to erase data from the device.
Therefore, I wish to file this complaint against Rotten Crotch alleging the following possible violations of Florida law:
- Grand Theft.
- Conversion of Services.
- Willful destruction of public records.
Given this, I respectfully request the Broward County State Attorney’s Office thoroughly investigates these allegations and to the extent permitted by State or local law or regulations, any and all penalties, sanctions, or other disciplinary actions for violations of such standards be applied forthwith.
