Just a reminder.

On Monday, June 25, 2012 there is a LL Commission workshop to discuss the 2011 Audit. Presentation by Harvey, Covington, Thomas.

On Tuesday, June 26, 2012 there is a LL Commission meeting to accept the Audit results.

I noticed that the weasel is not a sponsor of the items. He’s leaving it up to elianor and Chandra Grace of the Finance Department. He may look to disassociate himself from them if the results are as bad as we think they are.

Also, I was amazed to see that Chandra Grace is still in her position with Finance after everything that’s gone on. When I was there she couldn’t tell me where our checks had been deposited and what had happened to account funds…even with over 20 years experience in the department. You mentioned in one of your stories that someone from Finance was going to be let go but was retained after she threatened to sue the City. I’ll bet it was Chandra. I guess all the rest of us (the actual professional staff) should have used the same tactic when we were notified of our layoffs.

If your calculations are anywhere close to being correct, get ready for some interesting excuses and bullshit to start pouring out of the mouth of the weasel!
