Re: Petition Submittal from Jean Robb

On November 2, 2011 around 3:15pm, I witnessed Ada Graham – Johnson, City Clerk and Samantha Gillyard, Deputy Clerk being verbally abused by Ms. Robb, she continuously referenced to them and our office as “you people” calling us stupid, dumb, and incompetent, she also told Ada to “go hide in your office, BITCH.” saying it twice.

Ms. Robb displayed extremely rude and crude behavior to our office, which I found to be very offensive, especially to Ms. Graham-Johnson, City Clerk.

Ms. Robb proceeded to leave mumbling a host of other vulgar things and accused our office of giving her an incorrect map. She has made it uncomfortable to assist her at the counter or via telephone in the past few weeks.

Re: Petition Submittal from Jean Robb

On November 2, 2011 around 3:15pm, Mrs. Robb came to our counter to submit the petitions for the Unfair Rescind Taxes Committee. She was extremely hostile from the beginning; referring to us and our department as ‘you people’ and also referring to our department as ‘dumb’ and ‘stupid.’ After numbering the petitions, Ada Graham-Johnson walked away from the counter and preceded in her office, as Mrs. Graham-Johnson was doing this, Mrs. Robb uttered the words, ‘That’s right, go hide in your office bitch.’

Mrs. Graham-Johnson, not knowing exactly what was said, came out and asked Mrs. Robb to repeat what she had just said, Mrs. Robb replied, ‘I said go and hide in your office,’ leaving the expletive comment out.

Thereafter, Mrs. Graham-Johnson explained to Mrs. Robb that we are just here to assist her, and that the name calling and outbursts are not going to be accepted here. Soon after, Mrs. Robb received all of her paper work and left.

This is not the first time we have had an issue with Mrs. Robb. The past few times she has been up here she has been very hostile and extremely hard to deal with. She is also very hostile when she calls our office, making it EXTREMELY difficult to even pick up her phone call. Mrs. Robb shows absolute NO respect to our office and I find her to be very offensive, especially to Mrs. Ada Graham-Johnson.
