Lets look at agenda item 9A- The cooperative agreement with the School Board.

This will be a good time for JA to bring this back since there are other “hot” issues on the agenda that this will go unnoticed. If would not come back at all if a Commissioner had not “flamed” lil jon’s butt for failing to support “all” Commissioners the same. Seems this Commissioner had to follow-up individually and constantly remind old JA that needed to come back with the real information not the crap he tried to submit before. Wow that is odd- real information in L Lakes- what will they think of next. Another issue for the ICMA complaint- lack of support to “all” elected officials?

Agenda item 9C- Banking Agreement

Doesn’t anyone think it odd there was only one response to the RFQ for banking services? And why a RFQ and not a RFP? Maybe because there was no way to do a competitive ranking on pricing with a RFQ because any terms are not binding? In the agenda item it does a cost comparison between Bank United and current. That is not a comparison of submitted competitive prices done on a RFP. We hear that most financial institutions would not participate in that arena because they favor real competitive solicitations not PR. Another question- did they even send it out to anyone else or was it pick up at City Hall on notice? The selection committee had two people from Lauderhill along with ditzo Marie Elianor. Lauderhill- check out the Hazel Rogers connection below.

Could it be JA’s personal connections to Bank United-look closely for the NFBPA connection. Didn’t Hazel Rogers try hard to get the switch to Bank United back during her tenure. Might want to check the connections with the Caribbean Chamber of Commerce and other groups and sponsorship of those groups.

Agenda 9F- Accepting the JAG grant.

Now this is the way it is supposed to be done. Your elected body has to “accept” the grant and also authorize the expenditures from the grant.
Seems like lil jon forgot this with the CDBG money. He redirected the expenditures of CDBG on his own. Let’s think this is a new chapter for lil jon for the future. Wait what is that about a leopard cannot change his spots?
