Tea baggin’ … er… I mean sandbagging… (Comments)

With the recent piece in the Sun-Sentinel, indicating just how fucking sweet things are over in Lauderdale Lakes, it was brought to our attention our words of about six months ago indicating the city being “tits up” at the end of the financial year.

And just how close was our estimation?

  1. We’re sure they are really tight in the General fund and Fire Fund.
  2. There are loads of cash in Stormwater and Solid Waste.

That’s fairly straightforward deduction … now, how about this?

We noticed a slick move by jon allen frat bastard having Broward County take over the CDBG stuff entirely.

This means Broward now gets the “pleasure” of ponying up all the CDBG cash for Lauderdale Lakes projects – which takes the City entirely out of the cash process.

We recall the 2012 $1.4M CDBG cash problem — we’re trying to see where they are it with that now.
