Thought for the day. (Comments)

The agenda for Tuesday is a big mess. They have merged the Budget Public Hearing with the regular Commission Meeting. And JA has made it confusing for a reason. We believe the reason to be that there are a lot of “time bombs” in the agenda JA is trying to hide. The first of those time bombs is the CDBG redo.

Noticed item 9B- reconsideration of that CDBG item. 9b is the reconsideration of the CDBG reprogramming money.

On Aug 28, Broward County okayed the reprogramming of $500k+ from Minor home Repair (seniors) to Parks improvements based on JA request. He never informed his Commission of course and he was not authorized to do that (requires elected body approval by grant law).

Later that night on Aug 28, the L Lakes Commission did not support moving all of the funding and ended up screwing lil jon. Now to save himself, this resolution is coming back for reconsideration by Commission. Hear he has several people in BC grant area squirming also because they let him do it or worse help cover it up.

Desperately needs to correct this because BC Comm has already approved it.

His buddy EH voted on the night of Aug 28 for the amendment because he commented that if you are on the prevailing side, you can bring something back. And behold- it is coming back- just had to use L Williams again as a puppet to bring it back.

You have a copy of posts on this issue. This is just bringing it back for a second vote.
