Thoughts from tonight’s Lauderdale Lakes CRA meeting (Comments)

Well … so much for Comm P(enis) Williams campaign bluster about the CRA should be doing more to help small businesses and she was going to make that happen.

Seems that she can only support that when lil jon and EH, aka deadbeat dad, tell her it is okay. And tonight they must not have told her it was okay.

Wonder what hold they have on her. She been drinking the kool-aid again?

But that is okay- the CRA can give away money on facade improvements for those who who have the money and don’t need it (remember the Broward Meat and Fish debacle identified in the Kellar report) as happened again tonight. Also the CRA can still give money to the City to bail it out (City still owes CRA $2.3m) so what is another $182k amongst friends (or thieves as case may be) as they approved tonight.

But don’t worry Pat- keep doing what they tell you and maybe one of these days lil jon and EH will give you the green light to proceed. Wait- you may not be around to finally make it happen. Just sit there on the new bench and look at the pretty facade and dream of the many small business that could have been.
