Banished to an inner circle of hell.

Am I the only one (i.e. are you with me on this) that finds it kinda creepy that someone would come to the blog and save my pages to their local drive?

Sounds kinda sketchy right?

These types of actions always make me wonder the motivation of certain readers and to them I say...

You have been banished.  In this case, banished to the far reaches of hell.  Which, today I believe, is Margate.

Good bye.  Good luck.  So long.  And toodles.

My type of redneck!

The Video Vault: Date Certain: Now!

Watch Steve Gonot stutter, stammer and otherwise make a fool of himself as he tries and fails to prevent Mike Mahaney's 5% raise.

How can you trust him if he can't even ...

If we've learned anything from the past Presidential primary season it was the running of a campaign was a damn good indicator of a candidate's ability to manage a very sophisticated operation.

Obama did superbly, McCain not so well.  Which leads me to the campaign of one Knob Job Lother.

This moron has been out of the gate, what now, a couple of months.  Time enough, I would say, given even his moderate amount of retardation, to have read the Florida Election Commission's Campaign Book.  It's only about an inch thick (the book that is, no idea about his unit!).

You would think, but then again that crowd doesn't (yes Jack, I am speaking about you), that they'd have gotten down the rules by now.

And since they haven't, what does that tell you?  It tells you, as it tells me, that Knob Job is ill-suited and ill-prepared for the task at hand.

Finally, to those couple of anonymous emails I received this morning asking me the specifics of my complaints, I say to you this...

Did you eat much lead as a child?  Do your own homework.  If, on the slight chance that you are not part of that tribe, then step to the plate and send me your contact information.

The rule I live by in life regarding anonymous blogging and email, especially here in Deerfield Beach, is "you should grow a pair". Come out from behind the monitor (yes, I am speaking to you Chris) and stand by your words.  Be a man (yes, that tiny mustache proves you already are Jerry).

I will reveal my three complaints (yes, I found another - that dreaded section 103) when I am notified by the State of Florida they have received my paperwork.

Sorry. We're late.

The movie ran late and we have the sitter to 11:30.

So come on down for a quick pop. Drinks and food on me.

I am in the game. Are you?

When I got hit by a baseball as a young man, Coach told me to "rub some dirt into it and walk it off."

And that is my advice to Knob Job Lother as he learns that I filed not one, but two election violations against him.

Filed as in Expressed Mailed to Tallahassee. Just in time for Xmas.

A special thanks to Mr. Chris Tauber for teaching me how to make this a fun and exciting game.

The 4th Amendment and privacy.

A flurry of emails into me today - once again lambasting me on my use of code words, subtle innuendos, and sotto voce speaking (look it up) - so I shall dispense with the former formalities.

I offer the following picture below as to who I saw last night at Hurricane.*

See, I was on my way to the movies (ended up seeing Bolt with the kids), but en route we decided to have a beer and some grub.  As the girls were hungry, and hungry girls are always in charge, we stopped at the place.

And, low and behold, there he was.

A couple of parting thoughts.

1)  If you want to return the favor, I plan to be at Muddy's around 10 tonight with my sweetie.  Simply look for the hottest woman in the joint and the dude next to her will be me.  Or plan B. Click here for a glimpse.

2)  If you are wondering why I pixelated the folks in the picture and left HeWhoGotDinged alone, then let me say this.  While there is no reasonable expectation of privacy in most public places, I didn't feel like posting a picture of the "Jones" up here.

3)  They say that TV or film adds another 10 pounds.  I guess, when you add in a Hawaiian shirt, that figure jumps to around 50 #.

* BTW, the food there is terrible.

Everyone give a big round of applause for Knob Job.

A comment into AOS, followed up by a return email asking for permission, and a concluding email authorizing the usage of the ...

That was how the thread flow went to arrive at the Official Acts of Sedition Pet Name (surnom affectueux) for Mr. Lother.

Therefore, so let it be written, so let it be said.

Gary Lother. Your Delta Tau Chi name is "Knob Job."

Yes.  You are welcome.

PS Fat, dumb, and stupid is no way to go through life son.

Are you wondering? I am.

Anybody else wondering why Al Fucktard Capellini hasn't announced his candidacy.  Anybody else wondering if it has to do with a certain product that has a SKU # of 350132?

Wouldn't that be "just special".

Math is a funny thing.

Chris Tauber once told me that there's 30 or so folks around town who are "really into" the Deerfield Beach political scene and to that, I've come to learn, is a fairly accurate assessment.  I call this the Tauber Co-Efficient.

However, I will add a corollary to the Tauber Co-Efficient, herein known as "It's on Chaz's Blog."

If we take the 30 or so number as accurate, then folding in the visits to my writing (ie "It's on Chaz's Blog."), then we must increase magnitude of that number.

"Huh?", asks HeWhoBeenBonked.

Yesterday, a standard issue Friday, set a record for the number of visitors (both unique and repeat), the number of emails sent referring to my various blog posts, and total number of page visits.

Those numbers far exceed the 30 or so folks postulated by the Tauber Co-Efficient. *

So, what does this tell us?

Well, given that most of you don't think and spend your time sipping from the teat of "your man", let me tell you what is should tell you.

You may not like me.  Hell.  You are even apt to hate me.  But you are certainly reading my shit on a daily/hourly basis.

One final note.  I've been working out an additional corollary known as "(insert name here) is obsessed with Chaz."  This number, like traction to my site, is steadily growing.

* Not bad for the Frog King eh?

About Acts of Sedition

A progressive gauge of South Florida politics, elections, society and media, Acts of Sedition is a personal blog reflecting on the poignant and offbeat sides of news headlines and political theater as told by Chaz Stevens - citizen, activist, gadfly, pain in the ass, taxpayer, and of course beer maker.  All proceeds from this blog are donated to Women In Distress.
