Murray's diploma. Or lack thereof.

A persistent rumor keeps arriving in my Inbox and it goes something like this.

Hey Chaz.  Did Commissioner (D3) Marty "Murray" Popelsky lie about his college education? *  You know.  Said he went to college, but when in fact, third grade was his senior year. **

Anybody got the skinny on this?  Shoot me an email if you do.

* I can't remember the exact name of the school.  It was something like NY School of Electrical Engineering Before Electricity. ***

**  The part about third grade being Pooposki's senior year?  That's a slight bit of editorial liberty.  Very slight.

*** I'm not suggesting Murray is old.  I am telling you he is old.  A regular antique.  When Murray was a young man on the road, the hotels he frequented would send a wake up letter.
