A piece of fan mail

I returned home this weekend (actually, stopped into Deerfield on a sort of emergency, needed to get something kinda thing) and picked up my mail.

In the various pieces of whatnot, was an unsigned letter from West Palm Beach.  I thought I would reprint it in it's entirety.

The SOB's are supporting Don Cleveland for mayor.  They even had a coffee for him . he told Popolesky [sic] that they are supporting him although the SOB's will deny it.

Here is a man who rents and does not pay real estate taxes.  He has a record of being sued.  He tells them he is against all development.  He happens to be the secretary of the CV Demo club which is heavily supporting him for mayor so they can retain their hold on the city.  You know he'll never ask them to pay the same base rates for water and sewer as all the other multi-family owners.  We know the SOB's were dumb {Editors Note:  That is why we think the SOB's are SOBs) }, but how about down right stupid.  With all the multifamily units in District 1, Pam sat on her hands and never asked why the Village was being treated so special.  Was it because Capellini needed their votes in the upcoming election that the consulting engineers came up with their half-assed reasoning.  That was before he was charged.  Now they figure Cleveland is their best bed and he's a democrat.

I've been thinking about a comment made about me by Jeff "BFF" Sayles making mention of the fact that I like to "complain, but not offer any suggestions".

Exactly!  No shit Sherlock.

He must have confused my role in this movie.  My job is to complain.  That's the role of an incendiary blogger.  I am very comfortable my job and I'm not looking to assume another position in the future.

I am a man of action.  Just ask the ladies.  Making things happen is the log line of my life, unlike some who just talk and write and talk and write and talk and write.

So, let's take some time out this morning and review the history and impact of DeerfieldBeachUSA.com and MyActsOfSedition.com.

Sayles has been around forever (just ask him, he'll tell you) writing ad nauseam about this and that.   Voted political blog of the day many moons ago. Offering advice and suggestions.  Game planing.  And the various what not.

But to what effect?  Technically speaking, I think it's called jack shit.

Sayles latest idea is a high school debate between myself and Tom Lane Bryant.  Which, I believe, will make Sayles, if you will allow the pun (and you knew it was coming (or is that cuming)), a master debater.

Felony charges against Capellini and Gonot.  Both out of office.  One removed and one high tailed it.

So, this utter rubbish about me indicating that Connick's ethic manifesto was rubbish is simply rubbish.

As I am stuck out here in Wichita another day, I thought I'd pass the time by reading the flurry of emails into HQ regarding my request for intel regarding Tommy.

Who knew?

I'd really like confirmation of certain statements, so if you got the goods, get them to me post hasty.

Tomorrow, the Clerk of the Court website indicates Fucktard has his arraignment.

If that is the case, wonder how that will go. Mere formality I am told.

Only a matter of time before the Capellini Advocate chimes in to remind us how rosey it is to be Al. Felony charges and I would assume stiff legal bills must make for a glorious time at the dinner table.

An odd comment has sparked some renewed interest.

OK.  For you milk toast motherfuckers, what I just wrote was, "Pardon me Sir or Madam.  If you have a moment, I would be grateful if you would help me with my problem."

I may not have all my facts correctly sorted out and my apologies in advance if I got it wrong, but I believe it goes like this. 

There is a gent, employed by the City of Deerfield Beach, works with Wayne Adams, who's first name is Tommy and from what I gathered, he has a personal relationship with JeanRobbZilla.

I am looking for intel of any sort.  If you work with Tommy, fire off an email to me.  Let me know how that is working out for you.  In particular, I'm keen to learn Tommy's status with the powers to be, in particular, say, women who are in charge.

Any bits of knowledge about Tommy's relationship with RobbZilla would also be appreciated.

And for those that are quick to want to send me letters accusing me of libel, slander and general assholianness, I am not accusing anyone of anything here. Yet.  For the moment, just gathering some intel.

Calling all the great minds of Deerfield Beach.

Jeff "BFF" Sayles kinda sorta posed an interesting question -- I am assuming by mistake -- discussing the great "minds" of Deerfield Beach.

It should be noted that Sayles - you do what again Jeff? - indicated that he didn't consider me one of said brainiacs.

Oh boo hoo.

Having the opportunity on many occasions to work with the absolute brightest individuals alive today (can you say the same thing?), I am familiar with those intellects that are stratospherically greater than mine.  I get that I am not the brightest pencil in the pack.  Nor however, am I the off colored crayon.

But, comparatively to the folks I have met in Deerfield Beach, I am in another league altogether.  That is, not to say, that I am the smartest feller in town.  There are plenty of folks I haven't met to date.  Rather, what I am saying, is that I'm left mostly non-impressed with the supposed Deerfield intellectual elite.

Take, for instance, those on the dais.  Can you imagine any of them dominating the game show Jeopardy?  I think not.  They have Wheel of Fortune talent at best.

Did you know I once interviewed with Microsoft?  No wait.  Before you get all "yeah, they just fired of 1,500 folks" on me, you need to understand the timeframe.  My interview with M$ was in 1986.  Windows wasn't even out the door and PC-DOS was the reigning Operating System for the 8088 based PC.  The folks in Redmond sought me out to help with Windows development.  Virtualization of printer hardware to be specific.

You know.  Crtl-P and something on the screen is jammed out to your HP.  That bit of complex code is what I would have been developing.

Rather than taking this gig (and making boatloads of cash and stock options), I took a consulting gig at IBM developing, what would later become OS/2.  Categorical mistake.

All of that (boring yawn) CV stuff was needed to set up the following question.

When I ask it, you need to give an answer *and* more importantly, a reason for your answer.  Don't Google it up.  Use only your brain and #2 pencil.  Or magic marker if you are so inclined.

This query was the final interview question (a grilling all day event) and my answer was the reason why I was offered a gig with Microsoft.
