I believe the only way she'll go unwillingly is if she's rolled out on a courtesy cart (ala Trinchi).
Official Lawyer of the Sedition, the officious Tommy "Damn It Chaz, Don't Call Me Tommy" Wright recently opined when asked the following question,
Given all of the facts as we know them today, what would be your professional advice to Commissioner Sylvia Poitier?
He offered up three possible scenarios.
- Stay in office and lawyer up. There is an immediate presumption of guilt.
- Don't retain legal counsel and hope that you don't find yourself needing a lawyer until it's "too late".
- Resign from office, hire a lawyer, and mount your best defense.
His strong advice was option #3. Which prompted me to convey to him my thoughts about Poitier leaving office.

All said and done, she's a career politician with little to no other means of financial support. This is her gig. She has to fight this to the very end. A lady with her name on a "School of Business" is a really piss poor business woman. That's irony right there... If Poitier is convicted of a felony, she'd loose not only her paycheck, but her double dipping retirement funds.
So friends she is all in. And as I like to say, every ship needs a few rats.
