In April, when The Palm Beach Post began looking into the allegations of improprieties in the condo sale, Whitehorse condo association president Gladys Sherrill said Rodriguez briefly was president of the association about seven years ago. Rodriguez’s previous arrest came Jan. 26, after allegations that he pressured Boynton Beach Police Chief Matt Immler and interim City Manager Lori LaVerriere to stop an investigation into accusations that he abused his stepdaughter, then 11. Investigators concluded the abuse allegations were unfounded, but Rodriguez was charged with abusing his power as mayor.
